I used MDM TECHNIK the other week, they replaced my cambelt on my 2001 RS4.
Great price, Excellent service and came to me aswell!
Give them a ring. 07833475336. I have had the RS for about 2 years and have found a new company who I can wholeheartedly recommend (depending on where you are in the country). Others members of the forum may wish to add comment if they have enjoyed a similar standard of service.
After recently settling in Surrey / Hants region and I needed to find a local, specialist garage to service my B5 RS4 Avant and fortunately found MDM Technik (owned and run by Mark McManus).
By way of background, Mark is a Bentley, Audi and VW trained technician, and having a bit of ‘get up and go’ he decided he needed a new challenge and consequently decided to set up on his own. He provides a mobile service and will service, repair & diagnose faults (using the latest equipment).
I have used him twice, firstly for a 4-wheel alignment check (where he gave the car a thorough check over and took it to the nearest approved facility to correct the settings ~ and only charged me £132, as opposed to when I had it done at Audi (£217), and more recently when I had my 84k / annual service (but this time it also needed 2 CV boots replacing) ~ the total was a very pleasing £480 (beat that at your local ‘stealer’).
I have to say that Mark (although quite young, from my 44 year old perspective) is very polite, professional, and hard working. I would trust him implicitly and he only accepted one coffee in nearly 6 hours. In my view he has set the bar at a different height and his competition need to worry. If you need more details then please do not hesitate to contact me, but I cannot sing his praises enough..!

I have just traded in my old BMW 316 and purchased a 52 plate TT 225. I got a good deal as it needed the major service. I phoned Audi for the first and last time!
My local Audi Garage (Basingstoke, Hampshire) didnt return my calls, the service advisor came accross as though they didn't want my business and when I finally got a quote it was insane!! NEARLY £1500.
Quick search on google and found MDM Technik, very helpful bloke, got me booked in straight away and quoted me £750.00 all in.
Came out to my work as he is a mobile service (doesn't even charge a call out fee!), diagnosed and fixed engine light on dash which was a split pipe, carried out 40,000 mile service which was the major one including 4 wheel drive oil and filter change (hadex I think its called) and replaced cam belt and water pump. Charged exactly what he quoted me exl pipe and all sorted without leaving the office! BLOODY GREAT. Beats joking around at an Audi centre with their crap coffee!
I recommended MDM Technik to a colleague, who has got him booked in for next week to do some work on his golf gti. He gave me 10% off my next invoice! So might go and get some Koni suspension fitted and a BMC air intake unit as he also does all that stuff.
Great company who are very helpful and I thought I would let everyone else know.

I used MDM Technik for the replacement and repair of a snapped cam belt on my AUDI A3. I was provided with a professional, polite and very thorough service at very reasonable rates . I have no doubt in recommending them and will be using them again in the future’
