At MDM Technik we carry out all types of conversions from a engine conversions (2.0 TFSI into a caddy, petrol to diesel), gearbox conversions (manual to DSG or DSG to manual) and drive conversions (front wheel drive to 4wd). Nothing is impossible and the bigger, faster and more powerful, the better.

At MDM Technik we carry out all aspects of ECU and immobiliser replacements which most other garages would tell you is ‘main dealer only’. We have main dealer diagnostic equipment and are fully licensed by VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda and Bentley to be able to replace keys, immobiliser components, remove component protection and code ECU’s.

🚗✨ Bob’s Gorgeous Cumbrian Red Bentley GTC 6.0 W12 ✨🚗

Bob’s stunning Bentley GTC was running poorly, with a misfire on cylinder 8 and a lambda reading of 0.78 at idle. The engine ECU was maxed out, and short-term fuel trims hit -27%. This engine needed some serious TLC!

First we removed the inlet manifold and found leaking cam cover gaskets (not the cause of the issue), upon removing the coils to enable us to remove the cam covers, we found all the coils and spark plugs excessively corroded. This had also caused heavy erosion in the holes for the coils in the cam covers.

Next we removed all 12 fuel injectors, tested them for leaks and their spray pattern, suprisingly they all tested fine but we still decided to replace #8 injector just to be safe.

Finally we drained and replaced the oil and filter as it stunk of petrol.

All new injector seals, spark plugs, coils, cam covers and gaskets and she now runs like a dream.🌟
